Protection of personal data by third parties

ARMONIA Benelux B.V. (hereafter: ARMONIA), part of the ARMONIA Group, believes it is important to build a relationship of trust with its clients, partners and employees. That is why we are committed to maximising the protection of your personal data.

With this policy, ARMONIA underlines its commitment to comply with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR, Regulation (EU) 2016/679) and the Dutch Implementation Act. Here we explain how we collect and use your personal data, and what rights you have.

Definitions

"Personal data": any information about an identified or identifiable natural person. Because this involves people, they must remain in control of their data. A person is identifiable:

  • directly (for example: first and last name)
  • indirectly (for example by a phone number or licence plate, an identification number such as a BSN, a postal or email address, or even by voice or image).

"Processing": processing of personal data includes any operation or set of operations involving personal data, by any means (such as collecting, recording, organising, storing, adapting, altering, retrieving, consulting, using, distributing or providing, comparing, or any other way of making available).

"Controller": the party (natural or legal person) that determines the purpose and means of processing, meaning the 'why' and 'how'.

"Purpose of processing": the main reason for using personal data. Data is collected for a specific, legitimate aim and cannot later be processed in a way that does not match that original aim.

"We": refers to ARMONIA Benelux B.V.
