Armonia, a company specialising in Facility Services, has been awarded the “Empowering Women's Talent 2023” seal in recognition of its commitment to women’s empowerment and its good practices in developing female talent. Patricia Serrano González, Events Director, had the honour of receiving the award on behalf of the company.

The event and awards ceremony took place as part of Women’s Talent Day 2023, organised by Equipos & Talento at the Reina Sofía Museum in Madrid, bringing together companies participating in the Empowering Women's Talent and Diversity Leading Company programmes.

The event also featured contributions from different professionals with the aim of sharing experiences and corporate best practices designed to contribute to and improve management models in the areas of equality and gender diversity.

Committed to the Sustainable Development Goals

This recognition follows the prestigious “Diversity Leading Program” seal awarded to Armonia last June, which recognises organisations that actively contribute to advancing diversity and full inclusion within their organisations.

Receiving these seals from Equipos y Talento is one of the greatest recognitions of our entire organisation’s commitment to promoting a diverse and inclusive working environment. At Armonia, we are fully aware of the power organisations have to help build a more equal society. With this objective in mind, we work every day. This seal, which would not be possible without all the people who are part of Armonia and who stand out for their talent and diversity, gives us further motivation to continue doing our part to build a better society,” says Alejandro Posadas, HR Director, who also adds that “achieving equality, inclusion and diversity within the company are pillars of our corporate culture”.

Yolanda Cid, Head of Talent Development, also states that “we attract, retain and develop the talent of people from diverse backgrounds, use systems to reduce bias in recruitment and also encourage the attraction of female, senior, multicultural talent and people at risk of social exclusion”.

Both distinctions highlight the company’s strong commitment to actively contributing in this area, both within its current workforce and through the training of people responsible for recruitment processes, in order to ensure an inclusive and diverse working environment with fair representation.

By promoting equal opportunities and strengthening the value of diversity and inclusion, Armonia is also reinforcing its contribution to Sustainable Development Goals 5, 8 and 10 of the 2030 Agenda.
