Armonia participates again in the “Sí, i Millor” Employment Fair in Barcelona
Metropolis CET, a company of the ARMONIA Group, once again took part as a sponsor and exhibitor at the “Sí, i Millor” Disability and Talent Employment Fair on 4 and 5 October at the Montjuïc exhibition centre (Barcelona).

Organised by the Federation of Special Employment Centres of Catalonia (FECETC), this annual event connects people with disabilities seeking employment with companies and institutions with job openings for this group, thus facilitating their job placement.
An important fact: in 2021, the employment rate of people with disabilities was 26.9%, whereas in the population without disabilities, the rate rises to 66.3%, according to the latest study by the National Statistics Institute (INE) on employment among this group. This low level of employment makes fairs such as this highly necessary, as they also highlight all the advantages for companies of including and normalising the hiring of people with disabilities in their workforces.
The fair is also a good way to advance in fulfilling the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) defined by the UN, especially regarding decent work, and to comply with Law 11/2018 on non-financial and diversity information. Other reasons for participating include helping to meet the social clauses set out in Law 9/2017 on Public Sector Contracts and enriching the human capital of companies.
In this regard, ARMONIA has 3 Special Employment Centres located in Madrid, Barcelona and Valencia, with the aim of creating quality jobs for people with disabilities. The social concept shapes the foundation of its corporate values and is reflected in its lines of activity, which seek to optimise the social impact on the people they work with.
